Although a number of front suspension parts were replaced a few months ago the roadworthy did list a few worn bushes. This has not an been an issue yet but one of the bushes is available if required and the others can probably use standard bushes.
One endearing feature of this front end design, a version of the Dubonnet trailing arm independent front suspension, is the need to grease various joints (not so uncommon in the 1940’s and even into the 50’s) and also to maintain an oil reserve in the front pivots.
Some of the play may be taken up with a good greasing.
