Every 2 years all the BMW car clubs around Australia get together in a Nationals meet up.
The 2022 event was meant to be 2021, so nearly a year late thanks to COVID. But the wait was worth it as the Nationals were held in the super-tourist town, Canberra (yes, you read that right).
The car display was held in the grounds of the Australian National University with lots of passing traffic and a really good vibe.
Best of all for me was the presence of a fellow 700, a 1959 Coupe.
A very special occasion. At that time, this was all of the road going 700s together, but happily now (in 2023) the third complete Australian car is registered for road use.
